About Me

Hello! My name is Mary Miller and I am a student at Central Michigan University. I am from the small town of Imlay City, MI, which is near the heart of the thumb. There isn’t much to do there, BUT we do have one of the last Valasic Pickle factories in the country, which is pretty cool. While in high school, I loved being active, and enjoyed playing basketball, golf, soccer, and running cross country. I also have a passion for breakfast food (especially pancakes), volunteering, history, and an unhealthy obsession with superheros.

My sister is my best friend and role model, and one of the main reasons why I am here at CMU today! While here at Central, I am a member of both the Honors College and the Leader Advancement Scholar cohorts. Additionally, I work in the Mary Ellen Brandell Volunteer Center as the OrgSync Coordinator, I am involved on the Homecoming, Siblings Weekend, and Up All Night committees, and I am on the Alternative Breaks Advisory Board.

So many amazing opportunities have opened up for me here at CMU and I have created this blog to tell you all about them! I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have, and I look forward to sharing more with you in the future.
